INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

As part of the admission process at Villanova Preparatory School, we require all international transcripts (non-United States school’s) to be evaluated by an impartial outside agency. The agency which evaluates transcripts for Villanova is World Education Services (WES), an international academic credential evaluation service.

The reasons that Villanova requires transcript evaluation are:
  • To validate the transcript(s)
  • To give Villanova a thorough understanding of the courses listed on the transcript(s)
  • To assist Villanova in accurate grade level placement of the student
  • To assist the student in his/her university placement, by presenting the university with a validated transcript

The cost of the evaluation is $100 (USD). It takes WES seven (7) working days to return the evaluation, from the time they receive the documents, so please take this into consideration when applying to Villanova, or expecting an admission decision from Villanova.

If you have any questions regarding this process please contact us at: admissions@villanovaprep.org or you may go to the World Education Services website for more information.
