Outstanding Achievement Awards
VILLANOVA MERIT SCHOLARSHIP: Each year Villanova awards a number of Villanova Merit Scholarships to incoming freshmen students who score in the top 3% in the country on the High School Placement Test. A student achieving these high scores on the placement test offered at Villanova in January, and who demonstrate a commitment to excellence through his or her application and interview process, will be eligible to receive the Villanova Merit Scholarship.
AUGUSTINIAN CORE VALUES SCHOLARSHIP: Students scoring at or above the 80th%tile on the HSPT or SSAT are invited to apply for an Augustinian Core Values Scholarship. Students who demonstrate both academic promise and evidence of a commitment to the Augustinian core values of unity, truth, and love will be eligible to compete for a scholarship for each year of attendance at Villanova. Scholarships are available for incoming freshmen. Download the application form here. The deadline for submission is February 8, 2007. |
Financial Aid
FINANCIAL AID: Financial aid is available to qualified students after submitting an application to Student Scholarship Service. In addition to its general financial aid pool, Villanova also offers the following awards and scholarship that are based on demonstrated financial need.
FR. GLYNN AWARD: Awarded to students who show a commitment to the Augustinian core values of unity, truth, and love through the admission process.
FR. HOWARD AWARD: Awarded to qualifying Catholic students who meet admission criteria, show a commitment to the Augustinian core values of unity, truth, and love and submit a nomination by their parish priest.
CLARE BOOTHE LUCE SCHOLARSHIP: Awarded to female students who excel in math and science. |
Villanova does its best to help every qualified student; however, we cannot guarantee that a student who is admitted will receive the aid that (s)he requests.
TUITION REFUND POLICY: Because Villanova Preparatory School must plan with the expectation that all students will remain for the full school year and because most obligations end expenses of the school are incurred for the full school year, no refunds or reductions in tuition will be made upon dismissal or withdrawal of a student.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR LOSS OF SCHOOL PROPERTY: Except if lost or damaged as a result of the gross negligence of the School, the School shall not be liable for loss of, or damage to, the personal property of the student.
