The Villanova Athletic program believes strongly in the ideal of “Pursuing Victory with Honor.” The commitment to hard work, dedication to team, respect for all, and the embracing of good sportsmanship are cornerstones of the program. Our coaches, players, parents, and fans are expected to display these qualities at all times. Wildcat Athletics are guided by the belief that faith and community must come first and that participation in athletics must be accompanied by excellence in the classroom. The Athletic Program also believes in the value of competition and the life lessons that are learned as a result of participation in a competitive program. The goal of the Villanova Athletic Programs is that all scholar-athletes who participate in our program develop life skills that include: the ability to work with others effectively, the ability to lead others in a positive manner, the ability to perform at his/her best in competitive situations, the ability to enjoy athletic activities, and the ability to develop a personal lifetime fitness philosophy.
The Villanova Athletic Program offers multiple sports during all three sport seasons. The majority of the students participates in at least one sport, with many participating in two or more over the course of the school year.
Congratulations to the Villanova Athletic Department for winning the Frontier League Sportsmanship Award for Spring '10-Winter '11.

Villanova Preparatory School alumni parents Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Maloon are the very first to purchase a donor inscription plate for the new Black Box Theater seating.
The Black Box Theater renovation began in October, when workers removed the interior walls of Ingalls Hall a single story structure built in the 1950s that previously housed a small art classroom and theater space.
Sound and lighting equipment, the seating, and other interior finishing materials are currently being delivered.
The offer to inscribe a donor plate for $295 was recently published in the Fall/Winter edition of Vista magazine which goes out to parents, alumni and donors.
