RESOURCES FOR PARENTS
The Counseling Office works in conjunction with parents to support students through their high school education and college search process. We offer opportunities for fellowship and education for parents during in-person and/or virtual programs.
Evening Presentations
Evening speakers are most often scheduled for topics of great importance to parents, like financial aid in college and understanding AP and IB courses. There is usually a guest speaker invited to shed light on a particular topic, or the counselors provide in-depth information into a particular area of interest. We encourage parents of students of all grades to attend these presentations.
Parent and Faculty Discussion
Once each semester, parents and faculty will discuss a book, podcast, or film that engages the group in fruitful and thoughtful discussion. These events will be held virtually to encourage participation from our families who come from many different areas and time zones. You can find information on the semester’s selection in the parent newsletter.
