Tim Bunce, Alumni Relations & Resident Academic Faculty
Tim Bunce works with both our alumni and current boarding students. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of the Pacific in English and communications as well as a master's degree in education from California Lutheran University. Prior to joining the Development Office, Tim was a member of our English faculty for over thirty years. In his current roles, Tim participates in alumni reunions and mixers, conducts alumni outreach, and provides academic support through our English Immersion with Support (EIS) program. His favorite Villanova tradition is a virtual tie between Wildcat Day, Baccalaureate Mass, and Graduation. Simply put, Tim believes Villanova is great because of our students, and if you visited his office you would find students who are curious, hard-working, eager, and talented.

Tessa Hottinger, Marketing and Events Coordinator
Tessa Hottinger is our Marketing and Events Coordinator and joined Villanova in 2015. She holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Clemson University. Tessa is an integral part of fundraising events, such as our Wildcat Classic Dinner and Golf tournament, Parent Guild Auction, and Wildcat Weekend. She also oversees the publication of Vista magazine. Tessa believes Villanova is great because the school is a close-knit community made up of individuals who genuinely care about the well-being of each other and the reputation of the school. Her favorite Villanova tradition is Grandparent's Day, where our students spend time appreciating their grandparents.

Deborah Smith, Alumni Coordinator & Resident Assistant
Deborah Smith serves as our Alumni Coordinator as well as a resident assistant in the girls' dormitory. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of San Diego in theology and religious studies. Prior to joining the Development Office, Deborah worked in Villanova's Admission Office. Deborah believes Villanova is great because it allows students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to flourish and be celebrated as a unique individual. At Villanova, every individual on campus is important and an integral part of the community. Deborah's favorite Villanova tradition is walking among the roses and saying farewell to the seniors at graduation. If you were to visit her office, you would find a friendly smile and wave. Deborah loves welcoming alumni back to Villanova.
