• VPS Scholarship

In an effort to make a Villanova Preparatory School education more accessible to students of varying means, the Augustinians of the Western Province, Board of Directors, and school administration are dedicated to increasing the number and size of student scholarships.

Donors should contact our Development Office to discuss their goals and establish scholarship criteria. A donor may establish either an Endowed Named Scholarship or Fixed-Term Named Scholarship.

Once the criteria are set, the donor should send a letter of intent to establish the scholarship with funds made payable to Villanova Preparatory School. Villanova's President and Director of Financial Affairs must approve the establishment of all scholarships. Please contact our Development Office by calling (805) 646-1464 ext 127 if you would like to establish a new scholarship at Villanova.

    Scholarship Types

    Endowed Named Scholarship
An endowed scholarship may be established in the name of the donor or in another name specified by the donor with a minimum gift of $25,000. The principal (corpus) of the endowment will be invested by Villanova's Office of Financial Affairs and the annual interest will fund the scholarship. The corpus of the endowment may never be spent. The donor may make additional contributions to add to the corpus at any time. Learn more about our three endowed scholarships below.

    Fixed-Term Named Scholarship
A Fixed-Term Named Scholarship may be established with the corpus of the gift (minimum of $5,000) used to fund the award.
