Timothy Bunce Timothy Bunce began his distinguished teaching career at Villanova Preparatory School in August of 1984, teaching senior English and freshman world history. He initiated the first AP 12th grade English Literature and Writing Composition class in 1987, then served from 2002-2007 as an Advanced Placement reader consultant to the college boards' Education Testing Service.

Timothy Bunce is currently in his 35nd year at Villanova. He still recalls his past students and their activities, both in and out of the classroom, with amazing clarity. Generations of alumni continue to enjoy Timothy Bunce's presence at reunions and mixers around the country throughout the year. Many alumni especially love returning to campus for a personal tour and enjoy lunch with one of their favorite teachers talking about the "good old days."

Timothy Bunce continues to be a thriving part of the school community today with a special emphasis on alumni outreach, helping our Development Office with alumni relations and grant writing, in conjunction with his regular duties of tutoring and guiding students towards fulfilling their dreams of higher education.

Three of Timothy Bunce's former students served on the Villanova Preparatory School Board of Directors: Kimberly Booth '89, Kyla Rightmer '00, and Dianna Wilke '88, who were responsible for helping establish the Timothy Bunce Scholarship Fund in 2011 to assist students with tuition assistance.
