Sarah Dufresne joins Villanova Prep as Director of Resident Life
Villanova Prep is pleased to introduce Ms. Sarah Dufresne as the new Director of Resident Life. As Director of Resident Life, Ms. Dufresne will oversee the resident life program at Villanova, welcoming students from over fifteen different countries who call Villanova home during the academic year.
Ms. Dufresne was born and raised in Ventura, California and attended Thomas Aquinas College in upper Ojai, where she earned her B.A. in Liberal Arts. She also holds her Masters in Theology from The Augustine Institute in Denver, Colorado. For the past seven years, she has worked at her Alma Mater, first as The Assistant for Student Life for three years and then as an Admissions Counselor and Head of the Visitor Program for three and a half years. She brings with her ample experience in running resident life programs, working with young people, and sharing the vision of Catholic Education.
“The thing that I love most about working in residential life is the opportunity to get to know students on a personal level, and to invite them into the community- it’s that dimension of hospitality which I think is so crucial for a resident life program” says Ms. Dufresne. “I am excited to build upon the bedrock of amazing tradition that is Villanova Prep and to work with the faculty and staff to integrate the Augustinian values of Truth, Unity, and Love into the daily life of the students.”
“We are delighted to welcome Sarah Dufresne to our campus community.” says Headmaster Brian Grisin. “Sarah brings the knowledge, experience, and energy necessary for our resident life program to grow and become a top destination for families looking for an exceptional boarding school experience for their son or daughter. She will be a blessing to our Villanova community.”
