What a wonderful turnout for this year’s Alumni BBQ on June 26th! We had over 200 guests and 36 different class years represented, ranging from the class of 1951 through our most recent class of 2021.
It was great to see Villanova buzzing with activity, this was one of the most attended reunions in recent years! Having our alums back on campus certainly made life here at VPS begin to feel more “normal” again.
We were particularly excited to welcome back our 1971 graduating class for their 50th anniversary. Special signage, balloons, name tags and commemorative pins signified this historical class which welcomed the first year of female graduates at Villanova.
It was wonderful seeing Wildcats of all ages interacting and enjoying a beautiful day on campus with music, games, drinks and good food.
We especially thank Assemblymember Jose Medina (attended VPS from 1967 to 1968) and Senator Monique Limon for presenting a special proclamation to Villanova during the lunchtime ceremony. The legislative proclamation honored Villanova for providing excellent education while also being devoted to a high standard of community service for over 97 years.
Please be sure to save the date for next year’s reunion, set for June 25, 2022. Remember to keep in touch at villanovaprep.org/alumni!
