Campus Ministry is the center of spiritual life at Villanova. Rooted in the Catholic and Augustinian Tradition, Campus Ministry seeks to provide space for all students to encounter the person of Jesus Christ and to grow in Truth, Unity, and Love so that they may flourish as children of God.

Not every student at Villanova Prep is Catholic or Christian, but every student is expected to participate in morning prayer, bimonthly liturgies, class retreats, and other all school prayer assemblies. We believe that asking the deep questions about life leads to greater fulfillment and human flourishing. As such, our goal is for every student is to grow spiritually while attending Villanova.

Some opportunities for students in Campus Ministry:

    1. Campus Ministry Council- an opportunity to take on leadership within Campus Ministry, assisting the Campus Ministers in planning liturgies, prayer, and retreats.
    2. Alpha Course- A video series  that runs during lunch once a week. This program is for students asking big questions and seeking answers to the meaning of life.
    3. Retreat Leaders- Our Middle School Retreat, Freshmen Retreat, and Kairos Retreat all need students to lead small groups
    4. Service- homeless shelters, food pantries, and a Service Trip to San Diego in June are some of the many opportunities offered throughout the year
