MEET OUR HEAD OF SCHOOL
Welcome to Villanova Preparatory School, a college-preparatory academy rooted in the rich Roman Catholic and Augustinian tradition guided by the core values of unity, truth, and love. Founded in 1924 by the Augustinian friars in the quaint and scenic Ojai Valley, Villanova has consistently provided a well-rounded educational experience that has allowed each student to grow and develop academically, spiritually, morally, physically, and personally.
We are inspired by our patron, St. Thomas of Villanova, a 16th-century Augustinian scholar and bishop in Spain who modeled genuine faith, academic scholarship, humble leadership, and dedication to serving those in need. It is our hope that these qualities exemplified by St. Thomas are developed and embodied by every student who graduates from Villanova Prep.
We are proud to have a stellar academic program with dedicated, well-qualified teachers who support students inside and outside the classroom. Guided by the Catholic Augustinian tradition, we have a Theology and Campus Ministry program designed to help every student to grow spiritually and encourage them to develop the moral virtues that build character. We have an athletic and arts program that strives to allow every student to reach their potential, whether it is on the field or on the stage.
The highlight of the Villanova experience is our warm and welcoming community that truly supports and cares for one another. We are blessed by our uniquely diverse community that brings students together from every part of Ventura County and every part of the world. As a result of our outstanding co-ed resident program, a portion of our Villanova student body also calls Villanova their home during the school year.
You and your family are invited to visit our beautiful campus and experience our wonderful community for yourself. It would be an honor and privilege to welcome you and be able to show you what makes Villanova Prep so amazing!
May God bless you and your family!
