Enthusiastically, Villanova is approaching 100 years in existence. Established in 1924, we aspire to provide quality education for the next 100 years. Growing our endowment fund is a prudent way to allow Villanova to make commitments far into the future, knowing that resources to meet those commitments will continue to be available.
The Villanova Endowment is a restricted fund that provides an income stream for specific projects such as merit-based or need-based student scholarships, building maintenance, innovative projects, and so much more. At Villanova, 62% of students currently receive financial assistance, and we intend to secure funds to support students now and in the future. All contributions to the endowment are placed in various investments where the principal remains intact, and only the interest income is utilized. This way, endowment funds are never depleted and continue to be available to work for the school in perpetuity. Our endowment is investing in the future of Villanova, and we would love to have you come alongside us in this endeavor.
You can direct your gift to one or more of the specific designations or make a single gift that provides for all three. You may be most comfortable splitting your gift into several payments to make it workable. We welcome pledges that will be paid over a designated period. We hope to make tremendous strides toward funding these truly transformative initiatives that enhance the student experience and strengthen the future of Villanova.
