Villanova Prep congratulates Robert Cardinal Prevost on being elected Servant of the Servants of God. An Augustinian friar, Villanova University graduate, and former Prior Provincial of the Midwestern Province of Augustinians, Pope Leo XIV has visited Villanova Prep many times. He was on campus above (front-and-center) while serving as Prior General of the worldwide Augustinian Order. Father Barnaby Johns, Villanova Prep's former President and current Prior Provincial of the Western Province of Augustinians, is pictured second from the right in the top row.
On a pilgrimage to Rome last year, 17 of our students met then-Cardinal Prevost, who treated them to gelato.
